Big Rapids Museum Tours

From 10:00AM to 4:00PM

Take advantage of a rare opportunity to visit five Big Rapids cultural centers! For one day, the Mecosta County Historical Museum, the historic Bergelin House, the Old Jail, the Ferris State University Pharmacy Museum, and Artworks’ exhibit The Way We Worked will be open to the public. Maps and parking for each museum will be available at artworksinbigrapids.org and at each participating location on the tour. Artworks’ gift shop, The Painted Turtle, and the exhibit will remain open until 4:00 p.m.

Annual Holiday Craft Show and Bazaar

From 10:00AM to 2:00PM

The Great Coyote Cook Off

The Reed City Band Boosters invite you to The Great Coyote Cook Off Saturday, October 18th 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm RCHS Cafeteria $5 for 5 tasting bowls, Additional bowls $1 each. PAMPERED CHEF Products for sale Make donations at your favorite recipe's tasting station. TROPHY, BRAGGING RIGHTS, & $50 PAMPERED CHEF GIFT CERTIFICATE TO WINNER. 18th Annual Alleluia Auction

6:00PM

St. Michael's Parish fundraiser to support projects for the church, parish center and school. Poured Out Music welcomes The David Yonker Band

At Trinity Fellowship, Perry & 220th, just west of 131 in Big Rapids. This will be a FREE concert and everyone is welcome! The purpose of the concert is to raise funds for the ministry of Eagle Village, so a freewill offering will be accepted. Morley Stanwood High School Band Haunted Trail

Third annual haunted trail. Sponsored by the Morley Stanwood High School Band. Will take place Oct. 17,18,24,25,31 and Nov 1. From 7:00pm-10:00pm $5 admission Treats and Apple juice/cider served if you survive the trail.

2nd Annual Haunted Trail Food Drive

From 7:30PM to 11:55PM

The Millbrook Coonhunter Association is sponsoring it\'s 2nd Annual Haunted Trail Food Drive. October 18th from 7:30 pm to midnight at the Tamarack Sportsman Club in Lakeview. The drive is hosted by Steve and Amparo Davy. Last year the drive collected over 200 pounds of food for families in and around Mecosta County.
