Take advantage of a rare opportunity to visit five Big Rapids cultural centers! For one day, the Mecosta County Historical Museum, the historic Bergelin House, the Old Jail, the Ferris State University Pharmacy Museum, and Artworks’ exhibit The Way We Worked will be open to the public. Maps and parking for each museum will be available at artworksinbigrapids.org and at each participating location on the tour. Artworks’ gift shop, The Painted Turtle, and the exhibit will remain open until 4:00 p.m.

St. Michael's Parish fundraiser to support projects for the church, parish center and school. At Trinity Fellowship, Perry & 220th, just west of 131 in Big Rapids. This will be a FREE concert and everyone is welcome! The purpose of the concert is to raise funds for the ministry of Eagle Village, so a freewill offering will be accepted. Third annual haunted trail. Sponsored by the Morley Stanwood High School Band. Will take place Oct. 17,18,24,25,31 and Nov 1. From 7:00pm-10:00pm $5 admission Treats and Apple juice/cider served if you survive the trail.

The Millbrook Coonhunter Association is sponsoring it\'s 2nd Annual Haunted Trail Food Drive. October 18th from 7:30 pm to midnight at the Tamarack Sportsman Club in Lakeview. The drive is hosted by Steve and Amparo Davy. Last year the drive collected over 200 pounds of food for families in and around Mecosta County.
