RCFD Bed Race

Hi Everyone, We invite you get involved to support the Reed City Fire Fighters Association in this seriously fun filled afternoon! No previous experience in bed-racing required. The 2014 Santa’s Sleigh (Bed) Race is an awesome annual family fun day held to raise funds for the Reed City Fire Department in their quest to purchase a “Lucas 2” Mechanical CPR device. Our event will immediately follow the Annual Evergreen Festival Parade. Included in our bed race will be a “Run, Rudolph Run” Race for children ages 4-10. Entry to the “Run, Rudolph Run” Race will be a donation of a new, unwrapped toy. Those toys collected will be donated to the Toys for Tots program. Event held in beautiful Reed City on Saturday November 29, 2014, team registrations are available NOW. Get signed up quick. What’s involved? Get a team together of five people; 4 pushers/runners and one passenger. Runners for the bed race can be amateurs or professional sportspeople – everyone is welcome! Select a fabulously identifiable name for your running team and then register! Build a bed – or get someone else who is super handy to build it for you. And don’t forget the hooter! There’s a trophy for the winning bed design. Raise $$$ for the Reed City Fire Fighters Association’s “Lucas 2” Project by getting pledges from family, friends, colleagues and everyone else you know! Spread the word to everyone you know about this must-see event, and let us know if you’re keen to put a bed in…..we have numerous prizes & trophies to be awarded, so dress up and entertain the crowd! It promises to be a real blast so we look forward to you and your team being a part of this amazing spectacle and hearing your innovative and fun bed racing ideas!! Thanks for your support. Best Wishes
