FREE Cancer Screenings

Offered to residents of Osceola County and surrounding areas by the Lake, Mecosta, and Osceola Cancer Prevention Coalition. The one day free screening is for adults age 64 or under who do not have health insurance or whose insurance does not cover screenings and have not had a cancer screening in at least one year. Screening for women includes: skin cancer screening, colorectal screening, screening mammogram, pelvic exam with Pap smear. Screening for men includes: skin cancer screening, colorectal screening, prostate screening. Free screenings are by appointment only. Please call 231.592.0130 ext. 8659 to make an appointment or if you need more information. Space is limited. No walk-ins please. This annual initiative is made possible by the collaborative efforts of Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital, District Health Department #10 and the American Cancer Society.
