Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Saturday, May 14th marks the 24th anniversary of the National Association of Letter Carrier Stamp Out Hunger Food drive. On this day letter carriers across the country collect non-perishable food donations from their customers and donate them directly to local food pantries to provide food to people in your town who need our help. Your participation in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is simple. Rain or shine, leave a non-perishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox on Saturday, May 14th and your letter carrier will do the rest. Along with your postal carrier, volunteers assist in getting the food to local food banks. This year, Meijer has donated 18,000 paper bags to be delivered with a Stamp Out Hunger post card attached. Tracy & Co. Hair Salon is pitching in by offering $2.00 off any haircut when you bring in a non-perishable food item now until the Food Drive day of May 14.
