MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

Memorial Day Parade Date: May 30th, 2016 Time: 10 AM Location: From County Courthouse down Michigan Avenue to Bellevue Street, then continues down Bellevue Street across State Street to the Highland View Cemetery. This parade is put on by the Mecosta County AMVets. Come out and enjoy some Memorial Day fun!

2016 ANNUAL CHICKEN BBQ DINNER

The Big Rapids AMVETS Ladies Auxillary will be hosting its 2016 Annual Chicken BBQ Dinner on Monday, May 30th, 2016 from Noon until gone. The cost is $10 per person and the dinner includes 1/2 BBQ chicken, homemade Potato Salad and Baked Beans, Roll & Butter. The AMVETS post 1941 is located at 320 South 4th Ave, behind Eastside Party Store and ABC Automotive off Chippewa Lake Rd/16 Mi. Rd.
