GIFTS FOR KIDS GOLF OUTING

Spring Valley Golf Course Shotgun Start at 9 AM The Gifts for Kids program helps families in Osceola Country provide gifts, food, clothing, and other necessities to their loved ones during the holiday season. This program is completely funded by donations and organized and operated by volunteers. With your entry, you will receive 18 holes of golf with a cart, coffee in the morning, a jumbo hot dog fresh off the grill at the turn and a 1/4 lb. hamburger with two salads after your team has completed their round! We will also have door prizes, a raffle and various competitions, so bring your friends, appetite and golf shoes and enjoy a great afternoon of golf to benefit the children and families of our county! Team entry is $240 per team and your team must consist of four golfers. We accept men's, women's and mixed teams.

SUMMER FUN FOR KIDS

From 11:00AM to 1:00PM

Who: All children 18 years old and younger from all areas and schools are welcome to come and enjoy fun free activities and a healthy free lunch. Parents are welcome to purchase a meal for $3.75 and eat with their child. What: FREE fun activities, crafts, books and a healthy lunch! When: June 13 - August 19, 2016 Weekdays Only - Closed July 4th Between 11 AM - 1 PM Where: Big Rapids Middle School, 500 N. Warren, Big Rapids, MI 49307, Phone #: (231)796-7653 Organizations are welcome: Daycares, Preschools, Bible Schools, 4-H Programs, Camps, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, any organization involving children 18 and under are welcome to attend. If you would like, you can call ahead to reserve a table for your organization. Free Activities and Books are made possible by Big Rapids Public Schools, several great organizations, businesses, parents, volunteers and emergency personnel in our community.

LIBRARY SUMMER PROGRAM - FAMILY YOGA

From 2:00PM to 3:00PM

Lisa Sandin of Heart and Soul Yoga is coming to teach us how to family yoga and a little bit of Nia. This is held at the Big Rapids Community Library.

COMMUNITY BLOCK PARTY

From 5:00PM to 8:00PM

Location: Centennial Park, Big Rapids (East of Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital on Willow Street. Rain location - Riverview Elementary) Schedule of Events: -Honoring Dr. George Pusczak's 50-year career, and his 2016 Spectrum Health Distinguished Physician Award -A Performance by Stage M from its summer production of Mary Poppins -Music by the Ferris State University Community Summer Band under the direction of Dr. Richard Scott Cohen Free dinner and ice cream will be served.
