Over a dozen vendors and readers.

Performances by nationally touring Bell, Book and Canto. Belly dancing by Steel Lotus and Mystik Dancers. 

Presenters include Red Tent of West Michigan and Ravens Wing.

Drum circles, classes and more.

Will be collecting non-perishable food for food pantry.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

From 9:00AM to 12:00PM

August 8th - 12th, 2016

9 AM - 12 PM Daily

St. Peter's Lutheran Church

This is a free program for children entering preschool through sixth grade. Students will learn about Christ in fun and engaging ways each day. Our theme is Psalm 23 and we will focus on how Jesus Gathers Us Together. Students will be split into small age groups and where they will be taught Bible stories songs, stories, crafts, games, and snacks.

SUMMER FUN FOR KIDS

From 11:00AM to 1:00PM

Who: All children 18 years old and younger from all areas and schools are welcome to come and enjoy fun free activities and a healthy free lunch. Parents are welcome to purchase a meal for $3.75 and eat with their child. What: FREE fun activities, crafts, books and a healthy lunch! When: June 13 - August 19, 2016 Weekdays Only - Closed July 4th Between 11 AM - 1 PM Where: Big Rapids Middle School, 500 N. Warren, Big Rapids, MI 49307, Phone #: (231)796-7653 Organizations are welcome: Daycares, Preschools, Bible Schools, 4-H Programs, Camps, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, any organization involving children 18 and under are welcome to attend. If you would like, you can call ahead to reserve a table for your organization. Free Activities and Books are made possible by Big Rapids Public Schools, several great organizations, businesses, parents, volunteers and emergency personnel in our community.

Sparta Celtic Festival

From 6:00PM to 9:00PM

The 7th annual Sparta Celtic Festival features carnival rides, beer tent, and a reenactment camp. Entertainment includes irish dancers and music with 12 music acts and 6 dance troupes. Saturday will also feature a Fallen Soldier Ceremony dedicated to Brandon L. Stout at 5:00 pm.
