Register at 8:30 am, program from 9 am to noon at the Newaygo County Regional Educational Service Agency (old Providence High School), 4747 W. 48th Street, Fremont. How does the river work, what makes it special? Find out what you can do to save it from pollutants. More information on erosion, lakes and invasive species. Do you grow a garden and always have extra produce you don't know what to do with? Do you do any crafting, including knitting, crocheting, make soaps, jams, jellies, baking? We would love to have you as part of the market as a vendor! The fee to sell is $5 per week

The 7th annual Sparta Celtic Festival features carnival rides, beer tent, and a reenactment camp. Entertainment includes irish dancers and music with 12 music acts and 6 dance troupes. Saturday will also feature a Fallen Soldier Ceremony dedicated to Brandon L. Stout at 5:00 pm.
