Sessions include “Music is Marvelous,” “Clay Day Play Day,” “Wacky Imaginings” and “Fabulous Fabric.” Please bring a mom- or dad-sized button-down shirt with short or cutoff sleeves for a child’s smock. Registration in advance is required due to limited space, and participants are asked to plan to attend all sessions. Evans' art has been featured throughout galleries in Michigan and Canada, and he was the 2006-07 artist in residence at the Creative Spirit Center of Midland, Mich. 7:00PM 9:00PM Foreign Film Festival: "Queen to Play" Location: IRC (Interdisciplinary Resource Center) 120 The French comedy-drama "Queen to Play" (2009, 97 minutes, not rated) is the first in this series of four films from France featured as a part of this year's Festival of the Arts. A feel-good film set in idyllic Corsica, "Queen to Play" follows chambermaid Hélène, whose new found obsession with the game of chess leads her to seek the instruction of a reclusive American expatriate.
