Mecosta Medical Center Hosts: Yellow Jug Old Drugs |
Mecosta County Medical Center will be hosting a Yellow Jug Old Drugs medication drive. Please bring unused/unwanted/expired drugs to the lobby of MCMC between 9 am and 2 pm to be properly disposed. Thee are some medicines not accepted, Coumadin (Warfarin), Dilantin (Phenytoin), meter-dosed inhalers and Nicotine products. Pet medications also will be accepted with the exception of flea and tick preventative treatments. The Yellow Jug Old Drug program is a statewide initiative that properly disposes of old drugs to keep harmful chemicals out of Michigan's water.
