On Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 1:13 p.m., deputies from Mecosta County were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision on 20 Mile Road near 45^th Avenue in Fork Township. 

The investigation revealed a westbound travelling vehicle, driven by a 68-year-old man from Midland, crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound vehicle head-on, driven by a 55-year-old man from Wyoming (MI). 

Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries from the crash. The 68-year-old was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Fork Township Fire and Rescue and Mecosta County EMS.
