On Monday, May 11, at approximately 8:01 a.m., deputies from the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of 10^th Avenue and Monroe Road in Millbrook Township.

According to deputies, a Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by a 23-year-old man from Blanchard, was traveling eastbound on Monroe Rd and disregarded the stop sign. He then struck a GMC SUV traveling southbound on 10^th Avenue.

The driver of the GMC SUV, a 62-year-old woman from Blanchard, received minor injuries and was transported to MyMichigan Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant for further treatment. The 23-year-old pickup was treated at the scene and released.

Deputies were assisted by Millbrook Township Fire and Rescue, Mecosta County EMS, and Meceola Central Dispatch.
