On Friday, July 24, Angels of Action and the Mecosta Osceola Transit Authority are teaming up with Gifts for Kids for a toy drive.

The event begins at 10 a.m. at Spring Valley Golf Course in Reed City.

“We’ve had several of these fill-a-bus events all across Mecosta and Osceola counties over the last year and a half now, and we really enjoy it,” Jake Jackson of MOTA said. “All of the donations stay local to help out our neighbors in need.”

Those interested in donating can bring new, unwrapped toys to the course during the event.

“All of the proceeds from this are going to Gifts for Kids,” Shavon Jacklyn of Angels of Action said. “We help families, specifically in Osceola County for Christmas, with gifts for meals, winter boots, hats and that kind of stuff. That is what this golf outing is for.”
